Manufacturing

Each pair of TG Equestrian Stirrups are manufactured by Carbide CNC Precision and Engineering. This is a CNC machining company based in Kommetjie, Cape Town, South Africa. They are a ISO 9001 registered company.    

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. This means that the products produced by this company are of a high quality on an international standard. 

Anodizing

Each pair of TG Equestrian Stirrups obtains its colour though anodising. Anodising is an electro chemical process that creates a durable, corrosion resistant oxide layer on the surface of the aluminium. Due to the nature of the process, colours can vary slightly.

Material

The TG Equestrian Classic Stirrups are made from areospacegrade aluminium 6082. The additional traction grip spikes, joining bolts and TG pins are made from stainless steel. This prevents rust and wear.

The TG Safety Stirrups are made from areospace-grade aluminium 7075. The foot treads are made from areospace-grade aluminium 6082. The Safety break away branches are made from acetal. The additional traction grip spikes, joining bolts and TG pins are made from stainless steel. This prevents rust and wear.
